UNIVERSITY FAIR C.A. 2008 / UFCA 2008
Cicomer and Charity Support Central (CSC), both non-profit organizations, are the organizers of the University Fair Central America 2008 and the administrators of the University Student Center, (CUE for its Spanish nomenclature). The fair will take place on December 10th and 11th, 2008 in Honduras, C.A. and the center will be inaugurated in December as well.
Cicomer has a proven record of coordinating events for educational and medical associations around Central America as well as creating educational aid programs. Through this venture, CICOMER intends to offer prospective students a complete and clear view of the admission process and options for study abroad. It will also provide the participating institutions with the best and more suitable candidates that possess both the qualification and financial solvency to attend a university in the United States.
Charity Support Central is providing the logistics, all printed material and professional support, being the University Fair manager a professional with a masters in communications and extensive training in international student recruitment and a member of both NAFSA and AACRAO.
UNIVERSITY FAIR C.A. 2008 (UFCA 2008)

Date: December, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th, 2008
Time: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 8:00 – 5:00 PM
Participating institutions and sponsors: To date, 3 universities and 5 sponsoring institutions have signed up to be at UFCA 2008, a complete list will be posted and presented by October 30th, 2008.
Attendance: Students from bilingual high schools, private universities and other professionals. We have signed on 17 bilingual institutions and pre-registered 78 students and at least one parent or guardian per student. UFCA 2008 will unite students from all C.A. in a collaborative effort to promote education and transmit useful information to students who desire to study abroad. UFCA has also targeted professional associations and current university students who would like to pursue graduate and postgraduate studies.

Limit of 12 Participating Universities from all around the country.
10 Sponsors including: Airlines, student test preparation services, mail couriers, office and school suppliers, computer vendors, translation and credential evaluations agencies, immigration attorneys, local ministry of education institutions.
We advise you to choose 10 programs you will like to promote, although you are free to have information available on all your programs. According to recent information gathered from XXX, XXX and XXX the most sought out programs from students comings from the C.A. region:

FAIR
• Table, tablecloth and fringe, two chairs, trashcan and a xx display area.
• Table cardboard banner with name of your institution.

• Electrical outlet, small tv screen and dvd player. (Upon request for an additional fee)
• Program includes a 15-20 minute presentation on your institution. Should be presented by your representative. Presentation is on regards to your campus, international admission dates, process and tuition fees. (PowerPoint presentation to be projected, CD required – Deadline 2 weeks before event).

• Listing on organizers website, fair publications, press releases, posters, flyers and advertising promoting the event. (Print, Radio and TV)
• Access to the Pre-Student Registration database.

LOGISTICS
• Free shipping of materials for the UFCA 2008 fair up to 50 pounds. Miami-Honduras. Custom fees may apply. (Shipment deadline: November 10th, 2008)
• Discounted rates on additional delivery of material through our courier at $.75 per pound, minimum of 50 pounds or you might opt to carry as part of your luggage.
• Airport transfers if not provided by Hotels.
• Internal transport if required and on demand: restaurants, mall, etc.

SECURITY & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
We have made sure we take all precautions to ensure a safe and hassle free travel for your representatives so we can guarantee a successful event.
All our staff is acquainted with the region and is fully bilingual so it will make it easy for your personnel to communicate and rely on their expertise as guides and coordinators. We will provide 2 escorts for each 6 institution representatives.
Our transportation vans are equipped with ac, locks and tinted windows for your security and comfort.
We also have 24 hour surveillance at each of the locations where university reps will be present.
Participating facilities, hotels and restaurants follow the most strict hygiene procedures for your health safety.
We have direct access to a top of the line medical facility and a specialist on call for any problems that may arise.
FAIR + TOURS (accommodations, meals and additional tours)
Your $999 Fair registration fees includes everything you will need to get the most out of your participation in UFCA 2008, including those services that are charged for an extra fee by other university fair organizers. However, if you need help with coordinating your hotel stay, flight and meals, as well as additional specific tours, we can accommodate them for you and no additional cost than what is charged by each particular provider. You can opt to acquire these additional services provided by partnering hotels, airlines and tour operators by contacting our Internal Travel Agent, who will be happy to make all arrangements for you so you do not incur in international call expenses and unnecessary hassles. Note that you are responsible of securing your flights to Honduras unless selecting the Airfare promotional option.

How do we intend to achieve this: Through our partner touravia We coordinate and run ground transportation to students coming from abroad: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador specifically for the event and have provided all information for students to benefit from hotel special accommodation and meal packages.
Attendes are prescreened to admit only students who are qualified for admission in US university standards and have the financial ccc to be admitted. If you are one of the 12 universities to participate you are guaranteed acceptance to the tour of your choice, no need to compete for limited and reserved space, we believe free market offer is equivalent to just and fair practices as those followed in the USA and free share of opportunities to the students. However we understand in competitive markets we cannot saturate the market, and we remain loyal to our subscribing universities to maintain the quality of our service and exclusiveness.
We have transport for Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Salvador and Guatemalan student groups, video inserts of your university, literature and podcasts will be available for students along the way.
